Find healing, compassion and understanding with Robin at Counselling Solution. My specialist expertise is in couple therapy, grief and loss, trauma and anxiety. I work extensively with NDIS participants on relationship skills and emotional regulation. As you embrace change, I’ll be alongside supporting and encouraging you to live your best life. I’m passionate about supporting others to strengthen their meaningful relationships. Relationships are the essence of life. We’re wired for connection and attachment. Secure attachments give life meaning and help us face the world and conquer our dragons. Underneath our complaints we're asking, 'Do you love me?' 'Are you there for me?' 'Can I trust you?' People with relationship trauma have a safe, non-judgmental place for confronting and resolving their pain. Couple therapy takes courage, strength, determination and stamina to explore the real and unspoken issues and find a way forward to a more satisfying and long-lasting relationship.
Choosing the most effective strategies for your situation, I’ll guide and support you through life’s challenges. As an integrative Counsellor, I may draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy, or Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy helping you become unstuck, better deal with painful thoughts and feelings, embracing a rich, meaningful life.
I’m a qualified counsellor, working both online and in my private practice, Forster Tuncurry with couples and individuals and I also provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselling. Married forever and happily, with four adult children, I’m also a mother, and love bush hiking, reading true stories, and drinking great coffee. I love connecting with people—particularly seeing people reach their true potential no matter what may hold them back, be it disability, discrimination, or just the traumas of life.
Registered with the ACA, Australian Counselling Association, I earned my Post Graduate counselling qualifications in 2011 with Sydney College of Divinity. Completing a Master of Counselling, with Torrens University, November 2024.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
