I’m a qualified counsellor supporting individuals, couples, and NDIS participants. With extensive experience in couple therapy, particularly around infidelity and betrayal, I also specialise in grief and loss counselling, and provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. I hold a Master of Counselling from Torrens University (2024), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from Sydney College of Divinity (2011), and have Australian Counselling Association (ACA) registration.
Therapeutic approach
My approach is grounded in empathy and evidence-based methods, with a deep understanding of how attachment and emotional bonds shape our relationships. With this passion for helping couples heal and strengthen their relationships, I bring a wealth of specialised training and experience to our practice. My advanced training includes: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Masterclasses: Beyond Betrayal, and EFT & Intimate Partner Violence; Working with High-Conflict Couples; and Ethics and Best Practices in Couples Counselling. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich relationship facilitator with a long history of helping couples build stronger, healthier connections. Additional training includes a Masters-level specialisation in Grief and Loss, making me well equipped to support you on your grief journey.
A bit about me
When I’m not counselling, you’ll find me enjoying beach and bush walks, playing with my cat, reading, and indulging in great coffee. I’m an Australian woman, a wife, mum of four adult children, and a proud grandma. Life has taught me valuable lessons, and so, I’m passionate about helping others because I’ve walked through my own challenges—including domestic violence and infidelity. These personal experiences deepened my understanding of resilience, healing, and the power of connection. Whether you’re facing trauma, navigating disability, or working through life’s ups and downs, I can help you unlock your full potential; I truly believe that healing and growth are possible for everyone.
